Weatherman Walking The Welsh Coast Series 3
I am so pleased to share that the new series of Weatherman Walking starts this Friday, 9th April.
Filmed in 2020, not long after having Poppy, and with strict social distancing procedures, I present some fascinating features in three episodes of Weatherman Walking The Welsh Coast Series 3.
You may also spot me in at the beginning and end of the programmes in the intro and the wrap-up with the man himself, Derek the Weather!
During what was a slightly unusual year to say the least, filming across Wales was an absolute delight. Due to Poppy being so young she had to come with me and, while she doesn’t appear on the films herself, she did get to meet Derek and the crew a few times and I loved showing her and my husband what I do. I must thank the BBC for such a professional and safe set up – and I am so pleased to be part of such a fantastic and welcoming team.
The three episodes I join Derek in his walks around Wales are episodes 2, 5 and 8.
Episode 2, to be aired on BBC One Wales 7.35pm on 16th April, joins Derek as he walks from Newport to Fishguard in Pembrokeshire. I head slightly inland to investigate links between Stonehenge and the Preseli Mountains. Tune in to find out more about this incredibly interesting story, solving a 4,500 year old mystery!
Tune in live on BBC One Wales on Friday evenings, or on BBC iplayer at www.bbc.co.uk/weathermanwalking
