Weatherman Walking Series 13
Weatherman Walking returned to BBC One Wales this week – and what better month to air its first few episodes than the UK’s National Walking Month.
The show returns to our screens with yet another season of wonderful walks and stories from across Wales, headed by Wales’s favourite weatherman Derek Brockway. Once again, his trusty team of Weatherman Walking co-presenters (including me!) find additional stories from the surrounding area to report back on during the episode. This coming week, Monday 22nd May, 8pm, Derek, Matt and I are in Usk and surrounding areas.
Derek and I start off our adventures in the beautful Usk Castle – but that’s not why I’m there. I’m heading off to look for even more ancient remains dating back around 2000 years to the Roman period.
Now airing series 13, not including the Welsh Coast series specials which I also featured on, the Weatherman Walking series promises to bring you fascinating stories from Wales all across Wales, and a few laughs along the way (mainly provided by the main man himself, Derek!).
Hope you can tune in and enjoy along with us.
Weatherman Walking will be airing on Monday nights on BBC 1 Wales at around 8pm (sometimes 7pm) each week. It will repeat on Sunday evenings on BBC One Wales, and can also be found on iPlayer at this link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006rh64. We hope to see it on network TV across the UK later this summer.
