Ali Baba Panto, St George
Ready for some thigh-slapping action?
On Thursday 15th, Friday 16th and Saturday 17th February I am delighted to be on stage with the St George Players in their eagerly awaited annual panto.
Before my husband and I bought our first house together, we rented a tiny Grade II listed cottage in St George, Conwy. St George or Llansansior in Welsh, is a delightful little village, home to the famous Kinmel Arms pub, the hugely popular Adventure Trail (where adults must be accompanied by a child, and which has a Harry Potter tribute area!), the privately owned but currently empty chateau-style Kinmel Hall and was the location of Dinorben hillfort, before it was destroyed by quarrying.
The St George Players have been putting on a panto in the village for 30 years! This year I am joining the clan and we will be proud to present this year’s panto ‘Ali Baba’! The panto is held in the village hall in St George village, near Abergele. There will be a performance each night on Thursday 15th – Saturday 17th February 2018 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3.50 for children. If you fancy a fun night out, lots of belly laughs and traditional panto humour (oh yes you do!), tickets can be bought at Eat at the Green Cafe Bistro in Bodelwyddan, at Kinmel Park Golf.
