Operation Weatherman!
Episode two of Weatherman Walking Series 12 will be aired this week – and for this walk we’re in Snowdonia. And I’m on the trail of WW2 tanks and sea planes!
This week Derek is walking from Capel Curig to Betws-y-Coed, and I’m nearby, up in the hills, looking for remnants of the second world war – in deepest Snowdonia… It’s hard to believe that the area was once under threat of German invasion!

Derek and I meet up at the start of the show near Plas y Brenin, Capel Curig, before parting ways on our own adventures. We meet up again at Betws-y-Coed at the end of the show to share what we’ve been up to. We had glorious weather, met some fantastic people, and learned about some fascinating stories.

Onkar, too, is on a breath-taking walk up in the hills, finding out more about how barriers are being broken down for minority groups in the countryside.

Tune in on Friday 1st April, 7.30pm on BBC One Wales, or watch online on BBC iPlayer at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006rh64.
