The Lynn Bowles Show – listen again
This Sunday I had the huge honour of being a guest on the Lynn Bowles radio show on Radio Wales, along with Derek Brockway.

Derek and I were asked for an interview to share some stories about the new season of Weatherman Walking, currently on every Friday evening on BBC 1 at 7.35pm, and now streaming on BBC iPlayer.
Derek talked about the history of the Weatherman Walking show, including all of the fabulous people he has met and all of the fantastic, fun and formidable things he ends up doing on screen!
I spoke about the three episodes I appear in (episodes 2, 5 and 8), including Stonehenge, Llandudno Pier and the Wales Gold Rush! Did you know that there had been one? My husband Rhodri and little Poppy got a mention too. And so did my ‘famous’ boots..!

I’m really proud to be a member of the Weatherman Walking team, and so excited that this series I also appear at the intro and ending of my three episodes. Derek and I first meet up at our starting location, then head off on our adventures before meeting up again at the end to chat about how we got on before disappearing for a cuppa!

Lynn Bowles really is as lovely as she comes across on the radio. The last time I was on her show, I was talking all about castles back in 2017, which you can read about here: http://idigarchaeology.co.uk/castles-with-lynn-bowles/
You can listen to our interview on the Lynn Bowles Show, which will be available for about 1 month, on BBC Sounds here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000v80g We’re on around 15 minutes in to the show.
